Purpose: For over ten years the mothers at this parish and their friends have taken the opportunity to leave family responsibilities behind and make new friends (especially with God).

Volunteers for retreat committee are always welcome! The Mother's Retreat has been an annual event since 1989. Any mother in the parish is invited to attend a weekend beginning Friday evening with happy hour and dinner and ending Sunday with lunch. We have a different speaker every year and the retreat is always scheduled for a weekend in September or early October. 

There is an ample amount of companionship with making of new friends (hopefully with God). Lots of moms take this opportunity as their once-a-year time to leave family responsibilities behind. We offer massages and ice cream sundaes in an effort to treat the ladies to some extra pampering.
