To foster and support vocations to the religious life: priesthood, diaconate, sisterhood, and brotherhood.

Also to further Catholicism by encouraging its members, men and women, through Christian education, to fulfill their own vocations to service for the church. Serra International has clubs in 36 countries. It is named after Blessed Junipero Serra, Spanish Franciscan founder of nine California Missions.
